Sea Eagle I Seeks a New Owner

 

Sea Eagle I, the sailing yacht at 43.3 meters height, is currently searching for a new owner. Royal Huisman, the famous Dutch shipyard built her in the year 2015. The exterior design and naval architecture of Sea Eagle I have come straight from German Frers’ drawing boards. The interiors of the sailing yacht have been done by Rhoades Young Design, a studio from Britain. She went for a refit at Royal Huisman, her shipyard located in Zaandam in the Netherlands last year. The sailing yacht, Sea Eagle I have been under great maintenance. She has been in excellent condition all throughout her life.

She has amazing features that can be noticed by anyone. All yacht experts will appreciate the beauty of her interior as well as her exteriors. Some of the noticeable features of the yacht-on-sale include a large dining area that is shaded by an awning. This awning is fixed between the two helm stations. There is also a huge sun lounge that can be used for al fresco dining alternatively. A transom is also there that can be folded to make a platform for swimming. Another great feature of the yacht-on-sale is that some sun pads are present on the forward coachroof. She is also equipped with a jet tender by Castoldi.

The Story of One Fast Boat and Two Big Dreams

The Ocean Race has teamed for around the world race along with stopovers, is going to race in 2021-22 edition on their 60-foot IMOCAs with foils for the very first time. For this race, only two and a half is left and organizer of this race, as well as the sailors, is finding how the change can promote the landscape of IMOCA that make arrangements for Vendee Globe in every four years. Vandee Globe is the race of the solo round the world.

At the time when Ocean Race will begin in October 2021 in Alicante, Spain, only eight months would have been left after the competitors of the first Vendée Globe will finish the Vendee Globe. This time Ocean Race also comprises of boat VO65 one-design for a trophy and will reward the finest young competitors. It is hoped for around 10-15 IMOCAs at the beginning of this maiden edition.

It Was The A Great Sailing Afternoon At The Zhik Poole Week

After the rain on Sunday and strong wind, it became tough condition for the sailors to race. However, the next day, brought what condition that is described as perfect conditions by competitors in the Poole Harbor. The wind was in the range between six and 17 knots. The wind kept the crews hiking hard most of the time; nevertheless it didn’t make the life exhausting for the lighter crews.

The shifting nature of the wind also threw a good amount of tactical challenges for the sailors while it was getting swung from 270° at one extreme and 320° at the other. Many of the places were won and lost during the shifts, and in the later part of the day, it was more prevalent, when a strong ebb tide brought another challenging element into the play.

Su Marine Sailing Yacht In Love For Sale

On November 30 2017 The 35.6 meters In Love sailing yacht has been listed for sale. The yacht has been listed for sale by Vassilis Fotilas at Fraser.

The yacht was built in cold-molded epoxied mahogany at the yard, Turkish yard Su Marine and it was designed by Taka Yachts, this is the RINA classed yacht and was delivered to its owner in 2014, and it got refitted in the year 2017.

VOR 2017: DONGFENG LEADING ON OPENING DAY

Chinese team Dongfeng has taken the early lead at the opening day of the Volvo Ocean race 2017.


The seven teams on ground started the opening scene from Alicante to Lisbon, which measured 700 nautical miles.

The second leg is slated for November 5 from Lisbon to Cape Town and it would be ten times the distance of the first leg. The third leg is set for Cape Town to Melbourne, measuring around 6500 nautical miles. The planed eleven stages would continue until mid-next yearas the teams slug it out.

Sea Trials Of Motor Yacht Viking 93 Successful

The Yard Viking of America has recently released a video, which is showing that the new Viking 93 Motor Yacht has been taken for the sea trials.


The trail of the yacht took place at the New Jersey off the coast.

In the aerial footage, it is seen that, this yacht of 28.45 meter is able to take a brisk turn of speed, surpassing its claimed 27 knots top speed. After the conclusion of sea trials, CEO and the President of Viking Pat Healey said: “I am extremely happy that we nailed it!”

He further added that, from the test, the consumption figures show that the twins engine 1,920hp MTU V12 2000 M96L of the yacht can deliver a higher range of 450 nautical miles, at the time when the yacht cruises at 23 knots.

About the boat Healey said, “If you are on the water and get the urge to visit to Bermuda, then this yacht will give you the legs to do that.”

To date, the launch of Viking 93 Motor Yacht is the second largest from the yard of Gretna, it was eclipsed the Starter Kit of 32 meters, which was launched in the year 2001.
